Slowly, Gently and with Ambition

At Future of Faith, we intentionally embrace a countercultural way of working. The world often glorifies a relentless pace, equating constant hustle with commitment and success. We see things differently.

Moving at full speed all the time can harm not only individuals but also the relationships and ecosystems we aim to nurture.

Instead, we move with purpose—softly, carefully, but always with the full ambition of our calling. Here’s what guides us:

1. Listening is Sacred

Stories are the heart of our humanity. Listening reveals who we are and what we care about. We aim to honor the stories of those we meet—not just to understand but to celebrate and support the work that matters most in your life and community.

2. Radical Generosity

We believe in giving freely. Most of our work is available under Creative Commons licenses, ensuring ideas remain intact while being open for sharing, adapting, and building upon. If you see something we’ve created that resonates, and you'd like to use it, reach out. Chances are, our answer will be “yes.”

3. Move Gently, and Restore Things

We reject the impulse to “move fast and break things.” Instead, we honor what has come before, mindful of the sacrifices and commitments others have made. While we embrace the need for change, we believe our role is to restore and renew—placing relationships and collaboration above the pursuit of being “right.” We move at the speed of our humanity.

4. Build for Compost, Not for Empire

We create for the moment we are in, not for permanence or dominance. The ecosystems of faith and community thrive through diversity, growth, decay, and renewal—not monoculture. Our work aspires to contribute to that rich, regenerative cycle, recognizing that what is right for now may not need to last forever.

This posture shapes everything we do. It’s slower. It’s harder. But it’s how we cultivate trust, nourish vibrant faith communities, and build a future that honors the diversity and beauty of life together.

If this resonates, let’s connect—we’d love to hear your story.
