New Sacred Listening Tools

We have revised and updated all of the Sacred Listening Tools. In addition to Sacred Listening Tools for general use, there are specific tools for Young People and an entire Identity series.

Here are some of our favorites:

  • Resonant Little Sparkles

This activity is a creative take on the sacred reading practice of Florilegia. It's designed to build a sacred text together and will spark meaningful conversations.

  • Snapshots of Belonging

Stemming from a growing desire to help a community listen to young people better, this activity is a Photovoice style activity that culminates in an art walk or gallery. But more than that- it's a creative way to listen to each other.

  • Creating Community

This activity is about providing young people with a community by helping them learn to build community, and equipping them with the tools to be change-makers.

  • Question Wall

Build a collection of questions that people are asking about their faith lives and use them to lead meaningful conversations. This activity is for all ages.

  • Building A Meaningful Ritual

This activity is written for mentors, facilitators, teachers, youth ministers, and other leaders who are looking to help those they serve to form rituals within a context that they’re likely already engaging in: digital spaces.

These updated and revised tools are easier to use, flexible and contain background into Sacred Listening Theory so you can even build your own with your community.
