This webinar frames relational discipleship as the core practice for resilient faith, then uses the Relational Discipleship White Paper commissioned by TENx10 as a map of what youth ministry scholarship and lived practice already show.

Aimed at scholars, students and applied researchers, this webinar dives deep into the research and practice of relational discipleship.

Josh Packard and Brandon Wong explain how the project assembled a large, diverse source base and why interviews and commissioned voices surfaced traditions that formal literature often leaves in silos.

The expert panel pushes past “relational programming” toward embodied spiritual practices, deep listening, cultural humility, accessibility, and intergenerational belonging, with special attention to wisdom rooted in marginalized, immigrant, rural, and culturally grounded communities. The conversation names real costs of speed, scale, control, comfort, and offers better measures of fruitfulness than attendance: movement toward Jesus, discernment, belonging, agency, and practices that reshape everyday life.
