Listen...To The Research: Pew Research Center: What the data says about immigrants in the U.S.

Behind every statistic is a person, a family, and a story worth understanding! Pew Research Center is helping us look beyond the headlines with a research-packed snapshot of immigration in the United States. As of June 2025, approximately 51.9 million immigrants lived in the U.S., representing 15.4% of the population and 19% of the workforce.
The research also explores where immigrants come from, how immigration patterns have changed, and the many different backgrounds, languages, and experiences that shape immigrant communities. From Latin America and Asia to Africa, Europe, and beyond, these findings offer a fuller picture of the people who make up our neighborhoods, workplaces, and communities.
For our listening-loving community, this research is an invitation to get curious, challenge assumptions, and listen more closely to the experiences of our immigrant neighbors. Numbers help us understand the bigger picture, while relationships help us understand the people within it. 🌱💛
