What’s a small but meaningful way you show others they’re truly heard?

By noticing the ways they shift their body language or tone when they are thinking, feeling something new, or nervous. Remembering minor details about folks. 

What advice would you give to others who want to build stronger connections within their faith communities?

Be curious, people love to be invited to share their stories and connect through their personal narrative. Notice what your non faith community needs and talks about. Act as if…you belong, your story matters, you are loved-from that lens you see others that way too and build on a foundation of trusting your belovedness.
