The role brings together organizational development, systems change, leadership, spirituality, and philanthropy. You’ll listen and learn alongside partner organizations 👂🤝, build relationships across the field 🌎, develop learning cohorts and retreats 💬, capture and share what’s being learned 📚, and help shape an emerging approach to sacred-centered organizational culture. 3. 2027 Diversity Outreach Initiative Scholarship 🎓✨
The Diversity Outreach Initiative (DOI) is helping more leaders from diverse Catholic communities take part in the 2027 Catholic Social Ministry Gathering, happening January 31–February 2, 2027. Scholarship recipients will gather with Catholic social ministry leaders to pray, learn, build relationships, and take action around human life and dignity. 🙏🌎🤝

4. Community Reading Circles Assistant @ The Narrative Project 👂📖
Calling all thoughtful listeners and conversation-builders! 📚💛 The Narrative Project, an initiative of The Christian Century, is hiring a Community Reading Circles Assistant to support facilitators leading conversations around selected readings from the magazine.
This role is very listening-forward. 🎧✨ You’ll build relationships with facilitators, offer coaching and encouragement, help lead quarterly virtual gatherings, gather feedback, and create opportunities for people to learn from one another. There may even be opportunities to help develop discussion questions, reading guides, and reflection prompts. ✍️💭
It’s an especially great opportunity for a divinity student, recent graduate, or early-career ministry leader interested in facilitation, theological education, storytelling, and community formation. 🌱🤝 And we love that the whole program is designed around slowing down, reading together, and creating space for honest conversations about faith, community, and public life. 💬🌎

5. Sacred Stories, Living Justice 🤝✨
Here’s an opportunity built around listening across generations! 👂👵🏽🧑🏾👧🏻 Catholic Volunteer Network is selecting 8–10 parishes for Sacred Stories, Living Justice, an initiative that brings youth, adults, and elders together to imagine and carry out a meaningful service project in their local community. 🤝🌱
Through a Design → Serve → Reflect process, teams will center young people’s leadership while honoring the wisdom and stories of older generations. 📖✨ Along the way, CVN will provide participating parishes with a micro-grant plus ongoing accompaniment and support. It’s a beautiful opportunity to turn listening, storytelling, faith, and service into something a whole community can experience together. 💬🙏🏽🌎
