BOON & The Teen Discipleship Framework 🎧🖤✨

We’re seriously inspired by what BOON (The Black Next Gen Network) is doing for the

discipleship of Black youth and it all starts with listening. 👂🏾💬 This growing movement is building a village of faith influencers committed to nurturing the spiritual lives of Black teenagers in ways that are culturally rooted, theologically grounded, and shaped by real lived experience.

At the center of their work is the Teen Discipleship Framework, a research-based model co-created with Black teenagers themselves. This framework brings together “sacred data” and real stories to understand how faith is actually formed in everyday life at home, online, in community, and beyond church walls. It’s the kind of work that reminds us: discipleship isn’t a program, it’s a lived ecosystem. 🌱

BOON’s larger ecosystem from listening tours and research projects to podcasts and community spaces keeps that same heartbeat: listen first, then build. They’re helping leaders, parents, and communities show up better for the next generation by actually paying attention to what Black youth are saying about faith, identity, and belonging. 💛
